Options Grayed Out

I had TV11 running on a Windows 7 PC to my liking. I bailed out on Windows and installed Linux Mint 17.3. Installed TV and now many of my options are grayed out, most frustrating is "Computer Sound" & "Display Black Screen". Do the two different version Windows/Linux function differently? Both are free accounts, would that matter? (I posted a separate thread on the sound problem).

How do I fix this?
