Backup remotely received files before they are deleted
« on: July 17, 2016, 02:48:23 AM »
Im interested if it is possible to backup remotely received files before they get deleted by the remote owner. For example: Someone is connected to my computer to help me with an installation. He remotely sends setup , executes it then and after setup has finisehd, he deletes the setup files again. Unfortunately I was not able to check the files for trojan or virus or something.
Is it possible to backup the the remotely received files before they are deleted? If it is not possible with TV, maybe some other tool can do it?

If you are concerned why did you let this other person access your computer remotely??

You could always ask them to NOT delete the file, or better still to run it through your AV checker before running.
Most AV will check these files on the fly anyway...

The other option is to just copy it somewhere else, but be careful that the remote person will have access to this location as well, and you may in fact be copying a trojan / virus...

Back to my first point. If you don't trust this person, don't give them access to your computer
