Sound not working properly

I am remoting into a home computer and I cannot get sound to come through. I tried from home the reverse and sound works fine, so its something on my home computer causing an issue. I cannot figure it out to save the life of me. Any suggestions as to what I can check?

I have made sure share computers sounds in selected, I changed to receive sounds from default device, also tried using the specific device that was set as default (I have speakers and headphones I switch between). I have went into sound setting on my computer to make sure nothing I could see was blocked. I am just at a complete loss. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
