Recommendations for a small inkjet printer that is compatible with TeamViewer

Does anyone use a small inkjet printer with TeamViewer that you can recommend? I need a basic inkjet printer to use in my vehicle mobile office to run off an inverter.  I've bought an HP 100 mobile battery powered printer, didn't work with TeamViewer.  Bought an HP 1112 inkjet printer and it didn't work with TeamViewer.  Found others having issues with HP working with TeamViewer so will avoid the brand.  I would very much appreciate knowing what others use.

I'm confused. A printer is run by an operating system. If TV can connect to an operating system that runs the printer, why should the operating system not be able to run the printer when it's being controlled by TV? I routinely use Kodak and Epsom printers through TV. What were you not able to do with your HP printer through TV, and what, if any, errors did you get?

Thank you so much for the reply and the info. 
When I added the print drivers to TV and tried to print remote, the printers were in the list of available printers via TV.  Processed as if the item would print, then would disappear or I received an "Error" printing.  Sometimes a spooling error.  From what I have read, some HP printers don't talk the same language as TV or are host-based printers.  I have two other HP printers 8600 and 8610 that work well with TV.

Oh, I see. You're using local printers *within* a TV session. I just use remote printers on the machine I'm connected with to print a file I've uploaded to the remote machine. You're trying to print a remote document on a local printer without transferring the file over.

When you say you're trying to use a printer with Teamviewer, you mean the latter, not the former.

Yes, I'm accessing my office through TV when on the road.  Printing an invoice from the office computer on the printer I take with me on the road.  I need to buy a new one but want to be sure the printer will work with TV.    The large HP's work well with TV but I need a small sized printer.

Looking for recommendations for a small, inkjet printer that we know will work with TV.
