Teamviewer kills my internet connection
« on: August 13, 2016, 01:35:11 PM »
Am a bit confused, running teamviewer on my three computers and a smartphone (PC's, Mac & Android).

A couple of months ago, the problem with teamviewer started. When I try to connect to my PC (win 10) from remote, it very often can't connect; and at the same time, it kills the entire internet connection on the host computer. I have to restart the computer manually in order to get it back online again. It doesn't even work with plug-unplugg the network cable. The computer goes offline, and so do the network adaptor..

This happens 7 out of 10 times. It do not seem to matter if I connect from a mac, a phone, another PC or different IP:s. Tried to keep my teamviewer installation up to date, opened the ports in the router and AW/firewall etc. The devices I use to connect are all set to be 'trusted'.

I find it hard to locate where the problem is; in the router settings, in the software, the AW/firewall. So weird.

My specs on host computer:
* Windows 10
* Eset smart Security
* Router with open ports
