Two machines with same ID?
« on: April 05, 2011, 01:19:33 PM »
How can I have two machines with the same ID? I've uninstalled Teamviewer 5 from one machine, deleted directory and the registry keys and every time I reinstall it gives me the same ID as another machine on my network.

Hi,
can you send us your TeamViewer log files as a ZIP file from both PCs to support@teamviewer.com?
You will find them most quickly by using the TeamViewer menu option 'Extras | Open logfiles'. The name of the files is 'TeamViewer6_Logfile.log'; if available, please also send us the 'TeamViewer6_Logfile_OLD.log'. For quicker detection of the problem, please also let us know when exactly the problem occurred, if possible.

If there are any, please also send us your crash files, which have the ending *.mdmp.

Regards
