TV doesn't start with Windows + error 193:0cx1
« on: March 24, 2012, 08:59:52 AM »
Hello everybody,

I'm using TV on a laptop (windows 7-32bit) (OK) and a desktop (windows 7-64bit). Well, on the desktop, TV doesn't start with windows, though I checked the compatibility and the administrator stuff.
And also, trying to set it up as a system service, I get the error message 193:0cx1 (cannot start TV on local computer)

Any ideas to fix it?

Thank you very much

Hi
I got the same problem on a Windows 2003 Server. It worked fine a long time now. After I updated from an OLD TV3 Host to TV6 Host the errors started.

What I can tell you is: Error 193 0xc1 means that the service you try to run is not compatible with the current OS. Means, my Win 2003 Server running 64-bit can't run this 32-bit application.

I now installed TV7 with the same result. I have to install the service manually because it doesn't get installed with the regular installation. It quits, telling me that it has a problem installing the service. With the manual command: TeamViewer_Service.exe -install
But still I'll get the 0xc1 error after trying to start the service.

Anyone can help?
