When Blanking screen & locking keyboard of remote session, at the console you can press CTRL-ALT-DELETE, select cancel and then full control is release to console (that was previously locked down).

Windows 7
Teamviewer 8 (and maybe other version)

But then again there is little that can block a CTRL-ALT-DEL function call.
