Problem with UAC
« on: October 16, 2013, 03:47:11 AM »
Hi,

as I read on the teamviewer webpage, one has to use windows login in teamviwer to be able to control uac remotely. This does not work, because the remote user the does not see the uac window. Only when teamviewer is started with "run as administrator", the remote user is able to control the uac. This does not make any sense to me, because the client does not know the administrative credentials and is not supposed to. As for now, teamviewer is not installed on zhe client mashine. The clients just run them if neccesary. Any suggestions on how I can control uac?

If I need to install something, I will normally just log the restricted user off, and log onto the computer as an administrator
