Cannot connect to teamviewer session
« on: August 22, 2013, 07:25:30 AM »
I have 2 XP machines running Teamviewer.  Trying to connect from machine 1 to machine 2, it says connecting, goes green, then says ready for connection.  I have attached the log file zipped due to file size.

first thing, are both machines runi8ng the latest version of TV?
If not, uninstall and reinstall latest versions and try again.
if that doesn't work, in the mean time, try sending a support ticket using the link in my signature to get that started while you wait for a response here.

They are running version 7.  The connection from machine 1 to 2 does not work but does work from 2 to 1.

or at least latest version 7 (same for both machines)
latest version 8 is better, but if you have a purchased license for version 7 continue with that...

Also, can you 'swap sides' during a working connection

I can swap sides.  That worked perfectly.  I do need to get the normal connection fixed, however.

have you updated to latest version?
Have you tried re-installing?

Also, check the windows 'power settings' on the machine that have trouble connecting too
