New to the forum and to Linux in general. I recently decided to give TV a try, and I really like the product so far, however, I just can't get past the fact that when I remote into my Ubuntu 12.04 dual core plex server the cpu spikes and remains at 70%+ for that running session. I have tried playing with the performance settings, but no matter what I do, both cores are at 70+%. After logging out of TV and SSH back into the server with a 'top' command, everything is back to normal cpu wise. Top processes without TV are around 3%....where TV gobbles up over 70% cpu.
I have entered a ticket with TV support.
Can someone verify that TV is suppose to be this resource intensive. Does anybody have any tips on how to calm linux ubuntu cpu usage with config settings?
