Launch Teamviewer from intranet website

I've built an intranet site that has a list of each computer & user in the company.  That site has access to each Teamviewer ID and password.  Is there some way I can launch Teamviewer from the website and have it start connecting to the user I've clicked on?

Think of how when you click a Spotify link on a website.  It will auto-open the client application with the proper info.  Is that possible for teamviewer?

You can do that from the teamviewer online management console >> https://login.teamviewer.com/

Also, I'd suspect that a shared network drive could have an individual link saved to it, which could be opened from anywhere on the network. Not sure how to integrate into an intranet site though. Perhaps via some sort of file sharing web page...
