unattended control of Android Tablet from PC, problem !
« on: August 17, 2013, 02:30:21 PM »
It looks like there a design problem in the software, resulting is inability to control unattended android tablet from pc...

PC ---> Android Tablet

I installed QS TV + TV full on Android tablet and TV full on PC

With TV full I can do: Android Tablet --> PC, unattended login no problem

With QS TV I can do: PC -- > Android Tablet, but ALLOW button must be pressed on Android

if I try to to use TV full on Android, log into it with user name and password
then enter log in and pass on PC it does no connect to Android...

What the heck ???
basically it seems like I can't control my unattended Android Tablet from PC !!!
with QSTV someone has to press the button on the tablet to allow control
and if I use TF full on Android, it only works connecting out from Android to PC and
not the other way around...

Why not just use the same TV full ( two way control ) on Android and design
2 apps instead...??? that does not make any sense...

+ QS sometimes crashes on Android... and there is no "auto restart/auto connect after crash"
and there is no auto start with Android boot

So, if the team can answer this question ?
How can I control my unattended  Android tablet from PC ???

Suppose I leave my tablet at the office at night  and go home or away and want to pull
some data off the tablet from PC ... I can't do it because someone has to press
allow on the tablet... This is no good...

Regards.

send a ticket to support and start that process. In the mean time, hopefully someone cant offer a suggestion on a work around.

I do not think they want to allow unattended access via TVQS, otherwise they would've done it by now. So yeah, it's more than a design issue, it's an issue of ideology. ::)

If you're rooted and have Tasker installed, you may want to read this: http://teamviewerforums.com/index.php?topic=2081.0
