remoting
« on: March 06, 2014, 02:17:30 PM »
Ok i have installed the program on my laptop. now lets say i want to remote connect o my wifes laptop anytime without her having to give me the access codes and stuff. Now the only way i know to do this is to install the program on her laptop also, but if i do this then it will also allow her to access my laptop at any time too?
Even if i use the setup unnattended access it still gives access to my computer all the time. Like my computer at work so i can connect to it from home but i do not want anyone to be able to connect from my work to my home computer?

Install the program, but don't log in on your wife's computer.

I normally ONLY log in when I want to take control of other computers.
If no-one is logged in, then teamviewer is accessible, but only to those who know the TV ID and password of the moment (or stored password)

I'm guessing that you are another refugee from logmein...we have seen a few similar questions recently

You are very correct about the logmein.  I never even k we about this until today. The little that I have used it I already like it alot better than logmein.  Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
