Initializing Display Parameters
« on: December 28, 2013, 09:56:56 PM »
Hello All,
I have Teamviewer's latest version installed on Windows 8, Win XP Pro and Win 7 Pro machines...

The remote PC running Win 7 Pro stays always ON...!! I am normally able to connect to it and stay connected... But very often I, also, get a message Initializing Display Parameters... The message comes after the authentication password is entered... The message stays for 1:41 minutes each time and the session ends without displaying the Remote Desktop of Win 7 PC...!!

In such a situation, I have to wait till the next opportunity to visit the remote PC and restart it...!! After restarting it works normally...

Can anyone please tell what's going wrong there...!!

Regards
Rahul

I can't say I have ever experienced that one. Have you submitted a support ticket?

The only thing that comes to mind is to ensure that the graphics card drivers for the machine in question are fully up-to-date.

I have the same problem with Win7 Home Premium box running 24/7.  It only happened after upgrading to v9.  I had had a different problem with v9 before then downgraded to 8.  Found the solution and went back to 9 and now this.

Has any found a solution?
