« on: December 09, 2013, 01:46:33 AM »
Hi,

And if its possile to make it auto login to my teamviewer account at the startup.

Thanks

Hello,

actually I have the same problem...

It is really annoying when teamviewer starts as a service
and after logon there is a TW window in the middle of the desktop.

Is there any way to auto-minimize TW to the systray?

Problem is reproducible on Debian 7.3 with XFCE4 (with GNOME the same issue).

Looking forward to any suggestions,
Regards,
Gregory

The most annoying thing is that the auto log in doesn't work. Even though I check it several times, each time I reboot I have to manually log in on my machine. This is really sad as I use teamviewer on a daily basis from remote locations and need to (re)boot my laptop sometimes. As soon as my laptop has powered down, there is no way I can log in :s
Does anyone know the command line command to log in? If I knew this it would be easier to log in through ssh or something else...

I'm having the same problem with Mate (1.6 and 1.8) under LinuxMint 16.  Would like to set this up for my brother's system, and it will seriously piss him off if he has to close the window every time he boots Linux.  Fortunately he will probably be running MSVista most of the time on that system (and just on weekends anyway), but if I can't keep it from coming up, I'd probably have to skip using it.

have tried to set up my wifes laptop with linux, several UBUNTU versions were tried - on all of them TEAMVIEWER comes up with that 'Computers & Services' login popup - already logged in, but annoying. there MUST be a way to get rid of it.

seeing that this thread is already dated, where at TEAMVIEWER could one get an answer? or where at linux (ie UBUNTU)? an answer that does not delve into the very deep innards of linux, but is understandable to a normal person?

also, this refers to the normal full version having been installed. i could not find what is called under windows a 'TeamViewer Host' version for linux - was i not looking properly?

Same thing happens with me. No auto login is just a waste of time. The window not minimizing is annoying but wasting time is just pointless.

My teamviewer logs in automatically on an XFCE install but not on a cinamon install in a different PC. I can't tell why and it is annoying me beyond belief... Has anyone figured out how to get it to remember the sign-in credentials?
