Limit rights of certain computer
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:09:29 AM »
Hello everyone. I've been using TeamViewer for the last couple of weeks to help out my less-tech-savy family members, and it's mostly been a good experience.

In order to make it as painless for the others as possible, what I've done is that I've added their machines to my list of computers. However, this means that I'm logged in on their machines as well, which also makes them able to connect every computer on the list. It also means that whenever someone logs on, everyone else can see it, which I'm sure annoys some of my family.

Okay, so what I'd really like is to be able to access other computers without anyone but me being able to, and also to preferably to make TeamViewer as invisible as possible on the other machines, so it doesn't confuse anyone.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :)

Sounds like you are logged into "computers and contacts" on each remote computer.
That doesn't need to happen, as long as teamviewer starts with windows on the remote machine and YOU are logged in to computers and contacts on your machine the others will show up in the list.
Just log off the computers and contacts on each of the remote machines and you should be fine.
