Not connecting to keep alive/ generating ID
« on: August 21, 2014, 10:41:34 AM »
Recently Installed TV Host on a windows server and the service does not connect.  Asks for proxy setting says no connection to internet.

Windows Firewall is off.

Included log file.

Thanks, for your assistance.

Windows firewall shouldn't matter

Does that machine see web pages fine?
What server version?
What is the default web browser?

Try a different browser as default

IE on servers is typically locked down so much by default that it is disfunctional, and either needs to be fixed to be usable, or replaced with an alternate product.

I have TV host running on some Server 2012 machines

IE Enhanced Security is off. Tried Firefox as the default still getting message.

The Host is installed, just not generating an ID.
