Windows 8.1 Tablet: TeamViewer ID Resets?

I have had TeamViewer on a half-dozen of my own and family members' machines for years with no problems at all.....Except for this little TW700 Windows tablet I just bought.

At least three times in the past month, TeamViewer has come up with a different TeamViewer ID.

I'll sit there for awhile wondering why the tablet is not showing on my "Computers" list and finally it will dawn on me to check the tablet and look at the TeamViewer ID.... then I have to delete the tablet from TeamViewer's list of computers and re-create it with the new ID.

I know it's got to be User Error.... but what?

Aside from re-installing TeamViewer (which I do not believe that I have done) can anybody suggest what I might be doing to provoke this situation?

Remember: a half-dozen PC's with no problems for years.... now just this one.

my understanding is the TV ID should never change
