Teamviewer ID you have entered does not exist - Help!

Hi all.

I have a contractor in Paris, France that installed Teamviewer so I could remote access his PC and set up software. I'm in the US. Anyway, he just sent me a screenshot of his Teamviewer, with the ID and password, yet when I try to connect, I keep getting the error "The TeamViewer ID -------- you have entered does not exist." He says it's on, his computer is on (I'm pretty sure he's sitting in front of his computer as a type this), and, again, I have the screenshot of his login info. His installation is in English, so I don't know if there is some kinda region-lock between countries or what.

Any idea what's going on and how to bypass this?

if you have, dont use spaces when entering the ID
