Mac to Windows - Random windows start opening up
« on: May 05, 2015, 08:31:24 AM »
I am logging in with a Macbook on a Windows (Win7) computer through TeamViewer.

What frequently happens is that Windows suddenly starts to open a lot of new Windows, most notably Windows Narrator.
There doesn't seem to be a specific key combination that triggers it.
When I have a Windows-to-Windows setup there aren't any problems.

I can reset it by pressing the Cmd-key on my Mac a few times (this corresponds with the Windows-key on the Windows-machine).
But I'm looking for a proper fix.

Anyone of you enlightened minds have any clue as to what may be causing this? I can't seem to fix it myself, unfortunately.

sounds to me like it could be 'sticky keys' on the windows computer.

This is used for accessibility options. Unless you have a disabled user of the windows machine who needs it, turn sticky keys off on the windows computer.
