I've seen several that report ID's that change for no apparent reason.  I think I know why.  I was enabling and disabling my WiFi and wired network adapters, since often my WiFi is faster than wired, or sometimes not.  (When both are connected, internet service doesn't working properly.)

No problem, except when rebooting in this mode,  TV logs in as it should, but shows "offline" on the screen to the right, AND to any other remote PC.  To either the locally running TV, or any remote that normally controls it, this PC will NEVER show up, since it now has a new ID (which is reported to be used on and off, probably dependent on some hardware that is enabled or disabled).

 I think there should be an immediate fix (in advanced config) that made the ID "sticky", so it wouldn't change on a specific PC, even if the network cards, or other hardware was changed out.   Otherwise, some PCs will never stay universally available, and you'd never know when it would not work, thus destroying much to the value of TV for some specific use scenarios.  I''d class this as a SEVERE PROBLEM, but one that is easily fixed and or worked around.

I guess I will create "another PC" and add this, and hopefully, at least one of them will show up online at all times.  Enabling and disabling network adapters is a common occurrence, and so that shouldn't be used to set or define the ID.

>> == Great WORKAROUND -->>
 If you go to the PC you use to connect from, and "add" a new PC, (which is really the same PC with a new TV ID, so use the original nickname+"-2" ), and create the new PC addition using the same PW as the original TV ID.  (The old PW is STILL recorded and NOT erased or changed, and WILL work with the new ID, automatically!)  DON'T just remove the old TV ID, since it is likely to reappear if your hardware config "appears to resemble" your PC the way it was when you first installed TV.
