Keyboard Issues from Mac to Windows
« on: September 11, 2015, 11:44:29 AM »
I've seen a number of posts on this, but there never seems to be an answer. That said, I've been a user of Team Viewer for a while now, and it's always served me well, but there have been some issues that have always bugged me, but let go since (for the most part) the product works fine for me.

1.  I've switched my Command Key and Control key on my Mac.
When I use TeamViewer to access my work Windows machine, on the Windows side Control is now Command. Hugely annoying:

How do I switch the keys back to Control when I am on Windows through Team Viewer?

2.  Mac Global Keys (Spotlight, etc.) interferes with keyboard shortcuts when I'm on the Windows side.

Is there a way I can shut this off when I'm in TeamViewer?  Example, I'd love to use the shortcut: control-space when I'm in Excel (that highlights a row). The problem is that control-space on my Mac accesses Spotlight.

I love this product, but these keyboard issues have always been a thorn on my side.  If there's anyway to "correct" this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
