Screensaver / Monitor sleep issues
« on: October 28, 2014, 08:09:36 AM »
Hi,
I have a question regarding TV and possible issues with screen savers and/or monitors going to sleep.
It seems that once I installed TV, my screensaver has stopped working has has my monitors going to sleep after 15 minutes like they used to do...
Has anyone had this issue and can share a solution? Oh, btw, I am talking about this happening when I'm not remotely connected. Just using the computer as normal and walk away from it... then the screen saver never coming on.
I'm liking TV a lot, but really need the screensaver to work.
Thank you,
Shannnon

Without remotely accessing your computer, are you by 'logged in' to Computers and contacts? Try logging out of computers and contacts

so is the screen saver not supposed to work if you are logged on? i want to stay logged on to my remote computers AND to have screensaver work at the same time. Whether i'm the remote or the client both screensavers will not come on if i am logged on

Perhaps I mis-read what you said.

My screensaver works as I expect, irrespective of whether or not I'm logged in
(but then I'm on TV Ver 8 'cause that's what I have a licence for.

Screen saver on remote machine no longer working after installing TV 10.

This is after closing a session with remote machine with unattended access on.

I do not see a valid answer to this issue - please advise.

TV version 10
Windows 7 Professional
