I have a strange problem and will try to be brief.
I have a laptop PC running windows 10. Using TV, I'm trying to remote in to a headless miniPC also running windows 10. When both computers are connected to a standard wifi network through my local router/network I can connect to the miniPC no problem.
Because I will be using the miniPC and laptop "out in the field" away from a wifi network across a router, I have created an adhoc network on the miniPC. The miniPC broadcasts the network and the laptop can connect to the miniPC network. However, I cannot remote into the miniPC using TV. TV reports "connecting" forever and I never get a "cannot connect" or "authorizing" message; it just stays on "connecting".
The very strange thing is that using my Android phone, or another windows 10 tablet that I have, I can connect to the miniPC network and remote in with TV just fine.
All of these devices are on my account and show up in the TV computers list when logged in.
Any ideas why I can't connect to the miniPC from the laptop when connected via the adhoc network?
