Help with personal passwords
« on: January 04, 2016, 12:24:57 AM »
I'm having trouble getting team-viewer to require personal password authentication before a connection is allowed. For simplicity's sake me an a couple of other people all want to share a Teamviewer account. Each of us assigned our personal computers to it which will all have our own unique personal passwords and there will also be a few shared computers which we will all know the personal passwords to. The problem is, because all of these computers are joined to the same account, anyone can connect to any computer in the "My Computers" drop down list in the Computers & Contacts window without personal password authentication. I can't seem to find the option to require personal passwords to be used. Changing the authentication mode to either Teamviewer authentication or Windows Authentication seems to have no effect so I left it at inherited. Easy Access is disabled on all of the computers. The Access Control setting under advanced settings isn't what I'm looking for because it requires authentication on the client computer and I want unattended access.

#1 Don't log in to your account until you wish to remotely control another computer
#2 The computers and contacts is where the passwords for connection are stored (or not)
