Immediate logout after logging in
« on: March 25, 2016, 03:42:06 PM »
I've been using Teamviewer for quite some time but recently have come up with a new problem.

When I connect to my pc via TV, Windows on the remote machine immediately sends me back to the "press ctrl-alt-delete" screen after I enter my id/pw to login. I can see the login work, I am briefly presented with the screen of the remote PC, but within two seconds I'm logged off.

The remote PC is a XEN Desktop (a virtual PC running Windows 7 sitting on a farm somewhere). Normal access to the XEN is through a Wyse terminal - and when I connect that way it works fine.

Weird thing is - if I first connect to the Xen with the Wyse Terminal, then TV connects to the Xen just fine. Problem is, the Wyse terminal turns itself off after a period of inactivity, and once it turns off is when the problem starts, and I can no longer remotely connect to the Xen. If it was just a question of powering on the Wyse I could put up with it, but I can't just power on - I have to log back in to our VPN, which requires 2-factor auth and the whole process takes a few minutes and is a pain.

I used to have a Xen desktop that ran XP, and I could use TV on it with no problem, regardless of the state of the wyse terminal. Along with the upgrade to Windows 7 they're probably using a newer version of the Xen software.
