Hi

I have a requirement where a user of a web based crm application will click on a link containing the client Accounts Teamviewer ID which will open the Teamviewer application installed on their local machine and connect them to client accounts remote desktop.

Is this possible to do?

I seen someone posting  teamviewer8://remotecontrol?  so I assume it must be but not sure where to go from here. I dont no the version of teamviewer that is on the local machines yet either.

can somebody point me in the right direction here?

No help with this then?

I have the link in my web app structured like this: teamviewer8://remotecontrol?connectcc=1223223343&password=212334.

It opens up teamviewer in the windows machine fine but wont connect to automatically to the partner even though the partner id and password is correct in the link.

What am I doing wrong here?

I also noticed that if I am not signed into teamviewer is come up with the message: you must be signed in to connect automatically so I must be almost there.

Am I using the correct parameters in the uri above for partner id and password?

Ok so I found out this so far:

1.TeamViewer 8.1 or higher needs to be installed.
2. You need to be logged in.
3. You can't connect through the link providing a TeamViewerID and password, you need to provide the ID of the entry of the computer in the computer & contacts list of the logged in account and that entry needs to have the password stored. That seems to be everything the TeamViewer client supports at the moment.

But how do I get the ID of the entry of the computer in the computer & contacts list
