Problem running Teamviewerqs_en
« on: March 11, 2014, 09:06:27 AM »
I am configuring some new laptops and have copied Teamviewerqs_en to the public users desktop (Windows 7 64 bit)
so that all users who login have access.
When I try to launch Teamviewer as a user I get the error "Installer Corrupted Invalid Op code".
It runs fine logged in as administrator (if I select "run as administrator" logged in as the user I get the same error).
The PC is locked down using software restrictions in Gpedit.msc but I've made the Teamviewer executable unrestricted.
I've also gone into the properties for the executable and gave users all rights. Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing?
Thank you

very good, remember , this forum is run by Teamviewer users, we are here to help each other with what we can.  The ticket you opened is through Teamviewer support , directly, we wont have any access to that information unless you post back their response here.
Thanks

I had the same issue and solved it just minutes ago.

You need to UNRESTRICT the following in your Software Restrictions Policy:
  • %temp%\teamviewer
  • nsis7z.dll
  • system.dll
  • TeamViewerQS*.exe
  • TvGetVersion.dll
