This is likely addressed in the past, but I didn't find it by searching...
I frequently log on to other computers, both professional and personal, and two of my clients upgraded from TV8 to TV9.
I was still using TV8 at work, and as such was not able to connect to them until I either upgraded my own computer, or quit TV8 and ran TV9 in "one time" mode.
Of course, once I upgraded , I no longer had access to my own work computer from home unless I also upgraded all of them too, including 2 desktops and 2 laptops.
This is a real nuisance and I really don't see any reason for it.
As a result, when I DID log on, I went into their settings and disabled the "check for new version" and set "update automatically" to "update never."
Any new versions, while running in host or server mode should allow older clients to connect.
Can someone tell me how to cast a vote to allow this to happen in future versions.
Thanks, Mark.
