Why is teamviewer talking through the internet when the machines it's talking between are ten feet apart on the same local network?
Because each PC is has a different internet IP it takes ages to transfer data between the two of them and it goes the most impossibly convoluted path, and yet there they are on the same local network.
I don't understand why Teamviewer doesn't recognise the fact that they are on the same local network and let them communicate over that local network.
Also, I would like to stop internet communication for security purposes, but this seems impossible.
I don't understand why on earth there isn't a configuration that allows local network communication without having to enter an IP address! Why can't it just be point and click as it is with an account? Surely this is a major security issue when it need not be?
