Yesterday I set up Teamviewer on an Acer notebook (running Windows 10) in order to remotely access it from my Macbook Pro. Both are on my home network and the Acer is connected directly to the router via ethernet.
The Acer appears as online in Teamviewer on my Mac however when I go to connect to it, I'm given the following error code:
No connection to partner!
Partner did not connect to router.
Error code: WaitforConnectFailed
If I keep trying to connect, occasionally it will work but 9 times out of 10 it wont. However, for some reason resetting the router seems to do the trick. Obviously this isn't ideal.
Here's what else I've tried: Toggling router firewall (no effect), checked Windows 10 firewall isn't blocking Teamviewer, reinstall Teamviewer on Acer, restart both PCs.
Any advice?
