Double mouse pointers

When I'm connected to a computer I can see my local and remote mouse pointers separately. The remote pointer has a delay that is annoying and sometimes makes it confusing whether I can click on something or not.

I looked in the settings, but couldn't see anything that seemed to affect that.

Is there a way to only have one mouse pointer show when connected to a remote computer?
