Full screen leaves host taskbar present

Everything works beautifully until I put the remote in full screen using the full screen button in the View tab.  The task bar from the home computer (which is on the right) stays on top, hiding the right side of the full screen, including the 3 control buttons.
The only solution I've found so far is to put the hosts task bar in hide mode which means it has to be done everytime unless I leave it that way which I don't want to do.  Nor do I want the task bar on the bottom of the screen.  Ideas?

If this is in the wrong forum, please advise where it goes.
