Remote background color
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:36:13 AM »
According to the change log, the newest version (7.0.12541) changes the remote background color to blue instead of black.

Maybe it's because the computer I always connect to has a black background, but when I connect to my home machine the background turns blue (as expected), but when I disconnect, go home and physically use the machine, the background is still blue.

Why does it force change the background color if it is not going to change it back when disconnected?

I also am confused about the benefits of the new feature of changing the remote computer's desktop background color to blue.  As soon as the remote computer is accessed its desktop background color becomes blue, even overriding any picture that was previously the remote computer's wallpaper.  When the remote connection is disconnected the remote computer remains with the blue desktop background.  The original desktop background color or wallpaper image is not restored.  Why does Team Viewer change the remote desktop to blue and leave it changed?  Despite this, big thanks to all responsible for Team Viewer - brilliant program which I use to maintain my 79 year old dad's computer.
