How to setup a temporary second login password for my local TV?
« on: February 03, 2013, 07:26:05 AM »
Normally I am running my TeamViewer installation on my local Desktop computer so that I can access it from
e.g. office or hotel from my notebook. I setup a certain long-term password which I prefer NOT to change (very often). Fine so far.

In addition sometimes I want to show other people something on my Desktop computer. For that purpose I have to give these other people a password to let them access my Desktop computer.

In order NOT share my "main" password for them I would like to give them a second temporary guest password.

Ok, I could temporarily change my main password and revert it back later.
But this would be rather inconvenient.
I would prefer to setup a temporary read-only password which expires automatically after
disconnect or after lets say 2 hours.

How can I achieve this?

log into your computer and give out the randomly generated password that appears when TV is started. Leave the TV window open on your computer. It'll work until it is used.
