Hello,

I am a private user, and I use Teamviewer 8 on my Win7 x64 machine in order to have access to it from everywhere. For that purpose, I have created a Teamviewer account, and set teamviewer to allow remote administration of my desktop without confirmation.

This works, as long as I am at home, for example on another laptop that also has Teamviewer installed, I can access my other computer.

When I install Teamviewer 8 on my office laptop at work, and logib to my account, I can see my remote computer appearing in the list of clients, but when I select "connect to computer using password", Teamviewer wants to wait for an agreement on the other side, as if I was connecting to anyones computer who first has to give permission. After 10 seconds, this gives me a timeout. What I catually want is to connect to my home computer with out any agreement on the other side of course, because noone is there who could actually agree.

Why does this happen? Why is it not possible to connect the way I want?

Make sure that your home computer is setup with a defined(custom) password.

It actually is. Funnyly, it works from my workplace computer when I install TV in a VMWare, but not native :(

Sometime, for what ever reason, uninstalling and reinstalling teamviewer can solve the issue.

beyond that, I would  navigate to this page and submit a ticket:
http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/createticket.aspx
choose "private" category then "next", then fill out the form and submit.
They may be able to look at your logs and determine the issue.
Post back what you you find out.
