Version 5 support on Windows 8?

Hi

I have been told by support that version 5 isn't supported on Windows 8. We use the program for remote support to paying customers and have not noticed any issues. But it is a concern.

So I would like to know what features exactly aren't supported - or is this just a way of getting us to fork out for the new version? Is so, not impressed. One feature advertised over competitors is the lifetime license. If the program isn't supported less than 2 years after it's been paid for (a considerable amount for a small computer shop) - it's hardly a lifetime license? And it's pricing advantages aren't tempting anymore.
