Version 9 newly installed on win7 and win 8.1
any attempt to connect in either direction gets the most unhelpful response (in subject line)
I think I'm doing things right.... far as I can tell I've followed the little step thru at:
http://www.teamviewer.com/en/res/pdf/first-steps-spontaneous-support-en.pdfI can see the numbers in both addresses just fine but can not connect at all.
Is there some way to make this thing give up a tiny bit of information to help locate the trouble?
Can I put it in debug mode or set a 'verbose' switch somewhere? Surely the developer must know that
an error message like this is singularly useless.
Maybe someone more experienced can tell something from this error:
"A connection could not be established.
Reason unknown"
Has it seen the other end, and been rejected? Has it failed to even scan for a receptive address?
Would there be a different error if something was blocking a connection?
Would there be a different error if the software was not running at recipient.
