Standalone Viewer?
« on: October 27, 2014, 01:37:51 PM »
Brand new Teamviewer Corporate user and am reviewing documentation and getting things setup.

We are coming from 2 other solutions that had a stand-alone "viewer" executable that myself and my colleagues could simply launch on our PCs/laptops/terminal server without requiring a full application installation.  We would then enter the remote session's numbers into the viewer and connect to the remote computer.

I can't seem to find such a solution with Teamviewer - it seems we must have the full version installed on our computers to remotely connect to those needing help.  I see the QuickSupport option, but that is just to initiate the request; nothing on the consultant's side.

Am I missing it somewhere or must we install the full version everywhere we are going to use it?

You can also use the portable version if you don't want to install it.
