Hi,
We are running Team Viewer 7 for remote support regarding our IT products.
occasionaly we get below  prompt

" A connection could not be established.
Partner could not be contacted at the given network address "

whareas the partner is online. and he can browser internet.
also we get above error when even both are on same lan segment . using same class/subnet ip address. We are behind TMG 2010.

this is random error. So far what works is to restart teamviewr on both machines.

What could be the problme  ? at that instant internet is working ok..

I am also having the same issue. Trying to remote in from different PC's gives the same result.

I am also having the same issue. Trying to remote in from different PC's gives the same result.

Thru some trial and error, found my ISP is blocking one or two ports used by TV. Trying to connect to a remote TV outside my network proved there was a block. Since using a VPN server and trying the same connection, it worked no problem.

I am experiencing the same error when trying to connect to multiple computers as well. I don't want the customer to be on VPN. I am running teamviewer 10. Not sure the version partner is using. They can run the internet browser no problem and partner gets ID and password but it only shows status of ready to connect (secure connection), it never changes from this.

a response from teamviewer;
Hi Brando

Thanks for the message!

According to our Support Department, you have to have access to port 5938, 443 or 80 in order for TeamViewer to work.

If you'd like Support to look into the issue further, you can contact them directly, including the Logfiles of the computers where you're experiencing this issue: Support link http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/createticket.aspx

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to hearing from you again soon!

Best regards,
Amanda - TeamViewer
