Start TeamViewer on Remote PC
« on: April 06, 2015, 09:59:35 AM »
Hello,

I'm using TeamViewer 10 on a Windows 7 PC,
i'm at my office and want to access my personal computer at my house.
My house's PC is ON and it is connected to the internet, but TEAMVIEWER is not running in this computer, how can I start the teamviewer and begin the remote control?
Teamviewer in my Office is showing that my house's PC is offline and when I try to connect it says that the "Teamviewer is not running in that computer..."

What do I do?

unless someone at your house can start the teamviewer client on the house machine you cant force teamviewer to start remotely.
You need to setup teamviewer on your house machine to "start with windows" assign a custom password so you can access it anytime you want to:

Install the full version and then configure to to start with windows by navigating to:
extras/options and putting a check mark in "start with windows".

You should also configure a custom password
extras/options/security
enter a password in the "personal password( for unattended access)" section
also in the section  "rules for connections to this computer" where it reads "windows logon", choose "allowed for all users" from the drop down".

you can save the ID and custom password in YOUR computers and contacts section of Teamviewer.

also, you may want to make sure the remote system is not set to "sleep" or "turn off hard disks" in the windows power settings as teamviewer will loose connection of the computer sleeps/hibernates/turns off hard disks.
right click desktop/personalize/screensaver/change power settings/change plan settings.
