More than one ID for a PC
« on: June 24, 2015, 10:48:05 AM »
When I start Teamviewer 10 with Teamviewer Service Start-Type  'automatic', I always get an 'old' ID (from Teamviewer 9?). With this ID, there is no automatic login into my TeamViewer Acount and I can't see my friend's PCs.
After Stoppig the Service and changing the Service Start-Type to 'manual'  everything is fine.

I don't understand this behaviour.
I hope someone can explain to me how to fix this problem.

by 'Service' - Are you meaning the unattended host installation?

If you start automatically with Windows, it should do as you want, but that is not via a 'service'

Teamviewer isn't started automatically with Windows but as a 'service'.
If this service has the Startup-type 'automatic', I get a wrong ID, if I change the Startup-type to 'manual' everything is fine.

Depending on the OS and how the regular user logs on, that may well be correct.

Why don't you uninstall the service (unattended host) and change the settings so that teamviewer starts with windows instead?
These settings are changed in the options on that machine.

Unattended host has it's uses, but then so does 'Start with Windows'. I think that you need 'Start with Windows' to get what you need...
