Wake on Lan - Missing button
« on: November 11, 2016, 02:45:38 AM »
Hey Community,

I have just started to configure my Windows notebook in order to allow Wake-On-Lan. In order to do so, I adapted the Bios setup, changed the network adapter settings and energy options and configured teamviewer on both my laptop and the other computer (MAC).
While I wanted to try my first wake-up I realized that the wake-up option is missing at my second computer. It's written that I have to conduct a right-click on the computer name to be woken up and then just simply push the corresponding button which is not there.

Does anyone have a similar problem and can help me out?

Cheers,

Greg

The only thing I've found that makes that button not appear, is if the Wake on Lan on the target computer has not been configured  (aka adding your master computer ID to the list of authorized machines)
