Using Windows 7 to connect to MacBook Pro Yosemite

Hello all,
using team viewer 10 on both machines, I am attempting to connect to my MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite, from my Windows 7 PC.

TV 10 indicates it is "connecting" then it gives up having accomplished nothing, then says "ready to connect."

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling TV 10 on the MacBook to no avail.

I know TV 10 on the Windows machine is fine because I am still able to connect to my older PC running Windows XP.

Any insight in resolving this dilemma would be greatly appreciated!
