So I have commercial use V5 unattended hosts out in the field that I must connect to from time to-time (works nicely) and the company has a paid single channel license to accomplish that. I doubt they will be willing to spend the $$ for V6 upgrade.
I also have a shiny new android honeycomb tablet. And for my non-commercial uses (tech support for the folks etc...) it would be nice to just launch teamviewer from the couch on the tablet and fix my mom's font size issue right then and there. Alas, the honeycomb tablet app is version 6, and I cannot connect to version 5 clients. (Which is annoying)
What is the best way to handle this?
I could update all my non-work related boxes with version 6. Then my work laptop @ V5 will be unable to connect to them. Can I run V5, and V6 on that laptop without issue?
I'd prefer a version 5 android app = but that don't seem so likely.
Anybody else dealing with this?
