Teamviewer access lost after password change
« on: November 17, 2012, 11:56:32 AM »
I changed my 5 computers and contacts password as well as each computers password in the options of Teamviewer. I had my Galaxy 3 Teamviewer set-up to access each comp. I changed the passwords in the android as well. Now I click to connect on the android, I do see the comp list and it just looks like it tries and silently fails. I removed Teamviewer app and erased data/settings with no help. Only master comp connects to one other comp & that's it. I need to isolate problem now, not sure how. Perhaps remove predefined password and clear computers and contacts page and just use random password?  It worked like a charm before!

Try erasing the predefined password on each remote computer and trying to log in with the random password.

You may just want to erase your partner list and rebuild it, just keep a list of the partner IDs, erase the current contacts and re enter the IDs and add thenm to the list, then use the random passwords , sign in and then re enter a permanent password.

Make sure you erase and passwords you have stored on your local machine as well, or in the "my partners" list in your computers and contacts( i presume you have a TV account setup and ares storing all this info in the "cloud").

I had to deinstall all and reinstall clean. Now I can connect individually. Don't know what happened.

ya, sometimes that is the best method, could be there were different versions on each and things just got out of compatibility.
Glad it got worked out.
