OK. Have been using TV successfully with Windows for several years.
Just installed TeamViewer on Lubuntu 12.04 - as per click download as sudo. My Lubuntu machine will connect (LAN Exclusive) to my Windows machine perfectly well, and if I select change sides on the Lubuntu machine it will reverse and give the Windows machine control no prob. But if I try to connect from the Windows machine to the Lubuntu machine by LAN IP only nothing happens. The connect to partner button flashes in the TV window but then it almost instantly returns to the "ready to connect to partner state"
The version on Windows is 7.0.15723. The version on Lubuntu is 7.0.9377, Wine 1.2.1. Both are set to accept LAN connections exclusively.
I don't know my way around Ubuntu/Linux well enough to know if this might be a firewall problem or an installation fault or whatever. Anyone any suggestions?
