Strange pasword problem.
« on: November 26, 2012, 02:29:16 AM »
Hello all,

I am using Teamviewer 7 on diferent computer's for me and my family.

I installed it on  al there computers, and logged in with my account on those computers so i can remote acces it.

I put al the computer in the ( my computer map)

Before ( teamviewer 6) i had to give in a password before i could acces my own computer from ( example my grandma's house) and visa versa.

But now if i click my computer from my grandma's house i dont get that screen and i automaticly gain acces to my computer.

I filled in the password in the confugiration in the tab safety.

Is this a bug?

Otherwise can someone please help me fix this?

Sorry for the bad english it's not my main language.

Thanks
Dennis

it sounds like you set up a password for your computer and you have entered your computer and password on a partner list at you grandmas house.
Yes this will automatically connect when you click on the computer name in the partner list and it is safe.

You can set up a permanent password for all computer, create and account and a partner list and add them and all will do the same thing.

To test it, uninstall Teamviewer form your computers and reinstall it without entering a permanent password.( the ID will stay the same)
