Using Administrative privileges on partners computer
« on: January 09, 2013, 07:16:52 PM »
I cannot use any Administrative privileges on my partners computer. For example: using Notepad in Run as Administrator mode. Team Viewer locks me out. If I have my partner run it as Admin, I still get locked out for a while. Is this normal? If so, Team V wont do me any good.
Using free version 8. Do I have to buy the paid version to have full access?

OK I logged into a different computer and noticed that this one did let me act with administrative privileges in which the user was in an administrative account.

The previous one I was logged into was a non-administrative account. This must be why TV would freeze when accessing those type of features.
Can anyone confirm this is how it works?

If you are connected to a remote that has full admin privileges - your can do just about anything you could if you were sitting in front of it
If you have a non-admin account - you can only do what the user could do. The only way around that is to log off and log in with admin rights
